This year, Cricket for Cure are proud to send two youth teams — U14 and U13 — as young ambassadors to the King’s College Cricket Festival. Founded in Northern Virginia, USA, in 2022 in memory of a loved one lost to Alzheimer’s, Cricket for Cure has raised over $45,000 to date and grown into a vibrant community initiative. Their mission is to promote cricket among youth while raising awareness and funds to tackle Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Each year, they engage over 300+ young players, fostering leadership and inspiring innovation in Alzheimer’s research. Through their domestic tournaments and events — including their ongoing partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association — they aim to support those living with the disease, honor caregivers, and empower young people to make a difference.

Cricket for Cure express their gratitude for the opportunity to participate at King’s College again this year and would greatly appreciate your help in sharing their story with your community to inspire even greater awareness and action.
