Cricket For Cure (C4C), a youth-led nonprofit organisation based in Northern Virginia, USA, is delighted to return to the King’s College Cricket Festival for its fourth consecutive year, continuing a partnership that has become a highlight of our annual calendar.
Founded in 2022 in memory of a loved one lost to Alzheimer’s, we believe that youth sport can inspire service, leadership and compassion.
Since our founding, we have engaged more than 300 young cricketers and raised over $78,000 to support the Alzheimer’s Association and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. With our 2026 Domestic Tournament taking place later this month in Virginia, we are on track to surpass $100,000 in charitable contributions.
Our annual Pink Ball Cricket Tournament brings together youth teams, families, volunteers and sponsors from across the community to raise awareness and support for Alzheimer’s research and caregivers. This year’s tournament will welcome Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15 teams from across the Northeast US region.
The King’s College Cricket Festival remains one of the highlights of our calendar. It gives our young players the opportunity to experience English cricket, compete against international teams, build lifelong friendships, and grow both on and off the field. For the fourth consecutive year, King’s College is helping our young ambassadors represent not only their cricketing ability, but also a cause that reaches far beyond the boundary.
